These encoders have a special gear mechanism and count revolutions and put out binary signals. They are free from noise and accumulated error.
- Resolution per turn (C/T) is between 1 and 256 allowing for a wide range of applications.
- Output signals are sent out from each bit in parallel in the form of electrical signals.
- These encoders are vibration and shock resistant and can be used to construct highly reliable systems.
- They are light-weight and compact, dust-proof and drip-proof.
Movement of Counter Gears

The HYPER HR arithmetically synthesizes data from encorders A and B and outputs them as Gray binary signals or pure binary signals. It reconciles high resolution with multi-turn counts.
- A multi-turn type RC encorder and an 8 bit signal rotation type encorder have been linked via a MPU, to boost the capacity of the absolute type rotation sensor.
- It is of hybrid construction with a maximum count of 1,048,576, and can operate smoothly up to 1800 rpm.
- It is compact and light-weight, does not require a speed reducer and is easy to install.
- It is of advanced construction and is noise resistant.
- It is also earthquake-proof.
