What are the SDGs?

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the global objectives included in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the UN summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001 and aim to be achieved by the year 2030 to make a sustainable and better world. SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets wherein companies pledge to “leave no one behind” on the globe.
