PROFIBUS, a type of field bus, is called the most popular field bus in the world today.
Nippon Gear’s actuators (AE series) are compatible with PROFIBUS-DP and can provide feedback about the control and status of the actuators. They are also compatible with DP-V1 allowing setting of the actuators remotely.

• – Compatible with PROFIBUS DP-V0 and V1.
• – Up to 126 stations can be connected to one system.
  Note: A repeater is also counted as a station. Up to 32 stations, including repeaters, can be connected to one segment, which it is separated by repeaters.
• – Compatible with System Redundancy (SR redundant)
• – System redundant-type products can be used separately from valve actuators because the PROFIBUS interface is modularized.
